Manchester United scouts were apparently in attendance for Georgia’s 3-1 defeat by Spain on Sunday to get a close-up view of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The 22-year-old was instrumental in Napoli’s run to the Scudetto last season and has scored 17 goals and registered 22 assists in his 58 games since joining the club in July 2022.
Kvaratskhelia netted for Georgia in the Euro 2028 qualifying defeat to Spain, his 15th goal in 28 caps. According to 90min, United representatives were at the game, suggesting that he may be on Erik ten Hag’s radar.
Jadon Sancho could leave permanently by next summer if his fall out with the United manager continues and so Ten Hag could look for a new winger.
