Manchester United look to have been dealt a major blow ahead of the summer transfer window, with West Ham reportedly confident that Declan Rice will stay at the club.
Rice has been linked with a move to Old Trafford ahead of what is set to be a huge summer for incoming manager Erik ten Hag.
The 52-year-old faces a number of areas that are in dire need of bolstering, including the midfield. United have long held an interest in Rice, having identified him as a priority signing after a standout couple of years.
West Ham though have made plenty of efforts to ward off any potential offers, having slapped a substantial asking price on the 23-year-old.
