Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has remained coy on the future of Manchester United loanee Amad, insisting he is unsure if he will return to the club next season.
Van Bronckhorst — who will lead his side against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final in Seville next week — made the admission after watching Amad score in Wednesday night's 4-1 win over Ross County.
The winger stepped off the bench at half-time and scored in the last minute of the contest. It marked his second goal in as many games, suggesting that his loan spell in Glasgow is threatening to spark into life just as it's due to end.
Amad joined Rangers on loan in January in pursuit of regular first-team football but has been restricted to just 11 appearances in all competitions.
