Manchester United coach Kieran McKenna has said the club is working towards returning to some form of training shortly after the end of the current lockdown period.
Lockdown came into effect in the UK on March 23 and will be in place until May 7 at the earliest after the foreign secretary Dominic Raab announced a three-week extension on April 16.
McKenna said United are hopeful of resuming training when that three-week period is over in the hope that government restrictions will be loosened after May 7.
