Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford wins PFA award

Marcus Rashford has been named the Professional Footballers’ Association [PFA] Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year. The attacker had the best goalscoring season of his career last term, netting 30 times across all competitions.

He became the first United player to reach the 30-goal mark since Robin van Persie a decade ago. However, despite his accolade, Rashford did not feature in the PFA Premier League team of the year.

In fact, no United players made the cut. Rashford scored against the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona last season in what was a U-turn campaign following his poor 2021/22 showing.
