White, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, joined the Gunners on Friday in a big-money transfer and made his debut for his new employers during their 2-1 pre-season friendly defeat to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
White stepped off the bench in the second half but was unable to stop Mikel Arteta's side from falling to a home defeat, as goals from Kai Havertz and Tammy Abraham either side of a Granit Xhaka header sealed a win for the Blues.
