Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United fans will be sad if Odion Oghalo leaves the club this summer. MEN Sport understands the 30-year-old is set to leave Old Trafford this week, with parent club Shanghai Shenhua keen to have the striker back ahead of the start of the Chinese Super League season.
Whilst supporters were split on Ighalo's loan signing in January, the back-up striker has proved a hit for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, scoring four goals in eight appearances, with Marcus Rashford out of the side through injury.
However, Ighalo's loan deal was only penned until May 31, which would have been sufficient to cover Manchester United until the end of the season in ordinary circumstances.
