Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford reportedly agreed on a transfer to Barcelona before pulling a U-turn to sign a new contract at Man Utd. The striker's stock has continued to rise ever since making a flying start to his United career.
And after only his first full season at the club, he had already begun attracting interest from Spanish giants Barca. So much so that, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca got in touch with the youngster shortly after the start of the 2017/18 campaign to discuss a move.
Rashford only had another two years left to run on his deal at United, but they were struggling to compete at the top end of the table, and he is said to have agreed on a switch to the Nou Camp.
