Manchester United pulled back a two-goal deficit to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at Old Trafford and in doing so, answered a major concern of Erik ten Hag's.
Goals from Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly put the visitors ahead inside four minutes and silenced a shell-shocked Old Trafford crowd.
But United were able to catch a breath and impose themselves, eventually coming out on top. Christian Eriksen got an all-important goal before half-time, his deft flick halving the deficit going into the break.
Casemiro levelled the scores seven minutes into the second half and when Marcus Rashford was brought down inside the box, Bruno Fernandes fired his spot-kick past Matt Turner to complete the comeback.
