The Laundrette restaurant, which currently holds the top spot for the highest rated restaurant in Manchester out of 1,700 venues on Tripadvisor, charged the customer £60 after she 'forgot' to cancel her table.
The venue then hit back at the disgruntled customer, who also admitted she works in hospitality, on review site Tripadvisor saying: "Your table sat completely empty for two hours on a day we were fully booked.
This is why you were charged." Taking to the site, the user, named "laurenbH5350XX" said that she had been hoping to go to a pre-booked meal at the venue on December 30 of last year.
