Manchester United have to make sure Harry Kane is fully fit before they try to sign him from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
That is the view of former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson, who has highlighted the mistake made when the club re-signed Paul Pogba.
The Red Devils have been linked with a sensational £200million move for England captain Kane in the next transfer window. And while his goals record stacks up against anyone else in the Premier League over the last few seasons, the striker has faced lengthy spells on the sidelines.
Ankle injuries in each of the three seasons previous to this one have not helped, while Kane has been ruled out this term since New Year’s Day with a hamstring issue.
