A Manchester United player’s father was reportedly banned from entering tonight’s game at LASK's Linzer Stadion. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ’s side are in action in their last-16 Europa League tie but the game is being played behind closed doors due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Due to fears of the virus spreading the decision was taken for the match to be played without fans in attendance. The Austrian government banned all events with more than 500 people meaning no more than that figure are present at tonight’s match.
According to the Manchester Evening News , one unnamed United player’s father flew to Austria hoping to be allowed in as a corporate guest but he was left disappointed not to be permitted entry.
