Manchester United’s reasoning for not triggering Paul Pogba’s one-year contract extension is down to Mino Raiola. The Frenchman is approaching the end of the contract which saw him return to Old Trafford for £89m in 2016.
And it has seen the midfielder’s future thrown into doubt. But the MEN have reported that United are still relaxed about his future, not wanting to raise speculation.
United’s approach, though, has allowed Pogba’s super-agent Raiola to approach Real Madrid and Juventus. The Frenchman is in coronavirus lockdown along with the rest of the squad as Premier League football is suspended for the foreseeable future.
