The 22-year-old has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with the Gunners, who will fork out £27m to prise him away from the French club.However, United are said to have never had any serious talks with both the player or Lille about a transfer.Gabriel's agent Guilherme Miranda claimed the defender was offered more money by other clubs, saying: "Arsenal was nowhere near the best proposal [money-wise]."Gabriel chose them over more lucrative offers because Edu convinced us of the project.
