Manchester United are set to make a surprise swoop for a Real Madrid defender that will give competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.The Englishman has only missed two game under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, sitting on the bench against former side Crystal Palace while not featuring in the Carabao Cup squad against Brighton.But it also means the 23-year-old has been part of a defence that has allowed 25 goals through in all competitions.
It has seen United linked with a move for Atletico Madrid full-back Kieran Trippier, who will have one year left on his contract next summer.
But Madrid-based outlet Defensa Central have reported that Solskjaer is looking to the other big club in the capital for cover.
