Manchester United could reportedly take a page out of Bayern Munich 's book as they continue their pursuit of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho is United's top transfer target but talks appear to have stalled, with Dortmund holding out for a bumper £108m fee.United have explored potential alternatives to Sancho, with Juventus' Douglas Costa, Bournemouth's David Brooks and Bayern's Kingsley Coman all considered.
Now, the Manchester Evening News is reporting that United are considering a 'one-year stop-gap' tactic in their pursuit of Sancho, similar to how Bayern reacted in their pursuit of Leroy Sane.
The Bundesliga giants were desperate to bring Sane to the Allianz Arena last summer but when he suffered a torn ACL in the Community.
