Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United fans have spotted Marcus Rashford imitating Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The England striker played with the iconic forward at Old Trafford between 2016 and 2018, and mentioned the Sweden legend as a key part of his development as recently as April of this year.
Eagle eyed supporters have now seen their star forward utilising a tactic that Ibrahimovic used in the Premier League before joining MLS outfit LA Galaxy, but others have questioned if it is useful.
During their eventual draw against Tottenham on Friday evening, Rashford was making a run into the opposition penalty area and made himself some space by barging into the back of Serge Aurier.That move has been compared to a clip of Ibrahimovic tugging on the shirt of former.
