Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Sky Sports appeared to mix up Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial when announcing the Manchester United team to face Sheffield United.
Fans noticed that Martial's face appeared above Rashford's name and vice versa when the graphic for the Red Devils team-sheet was shown on TV.
Many of them took to Twitter to point out the mix-up, but Sky Sports are yet to respond on social media. Players from both teams took a knee to show their support for the Black Lives Matter movement ahead of the Premier League clash on Wednesday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer selected both Rashford and Martial to take on the Blades at Old Trafford this Wednesday, and his decision immediately proved to be a stroke of genuis.
