Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has accused his managerial rivals of trying to turn referees against Manchester United. The United boss fears the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho and Frank Lampard have resorted to mind games in a bid to influence officials.
Solskjaer was responding to claims from Liverpool boss Klopp that United get more penalties than his team do. Klopp, whose side crashed to a shock 1-0 defeat at Southampton on Monday night, has highlighted the fact United have had more penalties in two years than his champions have had in five.Spurs boss Mourinho has also taken a swipe at the number of spot kicks United get, while Blues rival Lampard claimed before last season's FA Cup semi final that Solskjaer's men got more VAR decisions in.
