A man is set to appear in court over 24 alleged shoplifting offences. Police launched an investigation after a spate of shoplifting in Stockport town centre.
The alleged offences were carried out between October last year and January of this year. Mark Feller, of no fixed abode, has now been charged in connection with the investigation, police said.

He was remanded into custody. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Mark Feller (06/10/1989) of no fixed abode has been charged with 24 offences linked to shoplifting.
