A man left a woman paralysed when he stabbed her in the neck after finding her in bed with his girlfriend. Alan Harter, 56, had hurled a brick at Lorraine Maxwell's window after realising his partner, Mary Sweeney, was in her bed, the ECHO reports.
The 56-year old dad-of-two then threatened Miss Maxwell over the phone, shouting: "I'm going to murder you!" before bursting into the property and repeatedly stabbing her with a knife.
