Sign up today for the best stories straight to your inboxA man is fighting for his life in hospital after being knifed and beaten with baseball bats by a vicious gang in front of young children and other horrified onlookers.The 24-year-old victim was found long a trail of blood after being stabbed in Nursey Row Park in the Walworth area of South East London on Friday afternoon.It is said the victim remains in a critical condition following the violent attack.Police have launched an investigation in to the incident which took place in broad daylight in the late afternoon before 5.30pm.Officers from the Metropolitan Police force have appealed for witnesses with any information that could be.
