Man seriously injured in hospital after falling from flat window in Edinburgh

Officers have closed off the city centre road as they carry out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.We earlier told how motorists were being urged to avoid the area while public transport was subject to delays due to the road closure.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.55am on Friday, 4 June, we received a report that a 21-year-old man had fallen from a window in Bank Street, Edinburgh.“The man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries which are not thought to be.
