Man's body found in Lanark home as police probe suspicious death

The death of a man at a property in Lanark is being treated as suspicious.Officers made the grim discovery at Braxfield Terrace ,in the South Lanarkshire town at 10pm, on Wednesday, October 4.

Emergency services were called but the unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives say that they have launched an investigation and are following a positive line of enquiry.Neighbours have told the Record that forensic officers have been searching a property and the street on Thursday morning. ]A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10pm on Wednesday, 4 October, police were called to an address in Braxfield Terrace, Lanark.“Police and Ambulance attended and an as yet unidentified man was pronounced dead.“The death is currently being treated as suspicious and the investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing.
