Police are probing the theft of two tractors from a field. The vehicles, and a set of spotlights, had been stored close to the Nigg Roundabout.But they vanished from the field, between Invergordon and Tain, close to the A9, earlier this month.
Officers from Police Scotland have now launched an investigation into the theft.And they have appealed to the public for help tracking down the engineering vehicles, posting on the Police Scotland Highland & Islands Facebook page.The post said: "We are appealing for any information about a theft of spotlights from 2 tractors which were parked in a field near to the Nigg roundabout between Friday, October 13, and Wednesday, October 18."If you were passing the roundabout around this time and have a dashcam fitted, we would encourage you to check this and get in touch."If you have any information about this, please call 101 and quote reference 1326 of the 18th October 2023 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
