mirror.co.ukA man defecated into a cup and tried to eat it after smearing the walls of a police cell with his own poo, a court heard. James Lane was arrested in Llanelli, in Carmarthenshire, after causing a nuisance outside a hair salon in the town, Wales Online reports.
Staff and customers had seen part of his exposed genitals in the ordeal, although things got even worse when he was taken into custody on August 11.
The 38-year-old spat at officers, smeared faeces over his cell and himself, and headbutted a metal toilet bowl before trying to eat his own faeces as a "curtain call".
James Hartson, prosecuting, said a "clearly intoxicated" Lane was "making a nuisance of himself" outside a hair salon in the town and trying to get inside.
