Man let German Shepherd starve to death in 'squalid' home 'littered with faeces'

mirror.co.ukRSPCA inspectors were confronted with this horrifying scene when they entered the home of a cruel pet owner who let one of his dogs starve to death.
Michael Warren, 35, of Grangetown, North Yorkshire, was jailed for his appalling neglect of the German Shepherds, called Bolt and Panther.
The animal charity has now released a photo showing the unbelievable scene met by their employees, reports TeessideLive. Bolt had already starved to death, while Panther, looking agonisingly skinny, tragically stood guard over the dog's corpse.
Some of the horrendous conditions in the flat, described as "squalid" at Teesside Crown Court, can be seen i the heartbreaking image.
