A 20-year-old man has been left with 'serious injuries' after a suspected stabbing in Salford. Three men have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after police were called to reports of men fighting in Adelphi Street on Saturday afternoon (June 8).
The men, aged 18, 19 and 20, remain in custody for questioning. A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries which were consistent with the use of a knife, according to Greater Manchester Police.
It comes after the car park of a block of flats in Salford was cordoned off by police amid reports of the serious incident. There was a large police presence, including crime scene investigators, at Adelphi Wharf on Adelphi Street throughout the afternoon. A resident of flats overlooking the scene said they saw 'blood splattered on the floor' with around 15 response vehicles attending the incident and a helicopter circling above.
