A man has been left with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving an 'off-road buggy' in Stockport. The smash happened on Siddington Avenue in Adswood at around 6.40pm on Wednesday (June 12).
Emergency crews raced to the scene after the buggy smashed into a lamppost. Fire crews used cutting gear to release the driver from the battered vehicle.
A 40-year-old man was then rushed to hospital from the scene. After the incident, police taped off the road outside Bridge Hall Community Centre and at Siddington Avenue Park. An air ambulance was spotted leaving the scene just before 7pm after landing nearby.
