Man led police on high-speed chase and crashed into fence

A high-speed police chase ended with the driver being caught as he tried to run off after crashing into a garden fence.Hamilton Sheriff Court heard that Caldercruix man Arthur Smith and another male were in a silver Vauxhall Corsa travelling in Holytown on November 26, 2022.Police officers saw the car shortly after 5am and decided to stop it for a routine check.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
