A normal-looking house in Manchester proved to be a hit with buyers at a recent property auction after sparking a bidding war.
The two-bed terrace, which sits on the border of Crumpsall and Cheetham Hill, attracted 75 bidders who drove the house to sell for more than double its guide price.
The unassuming house, which has rather dated decor and is in need of modernising, went under the hammer with Pugh Auctions on November 7, 2023.
After being marketed for three weeks, the auctioneers were inundated with 75 separate bids for the home, with it eventually selling for more than double its £75,000 guide price.
