Police and an air ambulance were scrambled to Whitlow Avenue in Broadheath at around 4.35pm today (15 June) after reports that a man had been stabbed.
Upon arrival officers established that a man in his 20s had been stabbed 'multiple times.' He has been taken to hospital where he remains in a potentially life-threatening condition.
No arrests have been made and police say an investigation has been launched. A section of Woodstock Park on Whitlow Avenue has been cordoned off by police, as they carry out their enquiries.
