A man diagnosed with coronavirus has died at North Manchester General Hospital, the NHS said tonight. It's the third death in the UK.
NHS England said he was aged 'over 60' and had 'significant underlying health conditions'. He had also recently travelled from an affected area, said to be Italy.
No further details have been revealed. The patient has not been named. The hospital said he was being treated at its specialist infectious diseases unit.
