Manchester City defender Callum Doyle has joined Leicester City on loan for the 2023/24 season. The 19-year-old joins up with former Blues academy coach Enzo Maresca, who was appointed Foxes boss in June.
Doyle spent last season on loan at Coventry, helping them to the Championship play-off final, where he featured for 115 minutes prior to the penalty shoot-out loss.
He tallied 46 appearances for the Sky Blues and will continue his EFL career at the King Power Stadium. Upon signing, the England Under-20 international said: “It’s great to come to work in a place like this. “I’ve worked with Enzo before and won the Under-23s Premier League title with him.
He improved me a lot so it’s good to work with him again. ALSO READ: Carlos Borges can strengthen transfer position with one more Man City trophy “What’s on everyone’s mind right now is obviously to get the club back where it belongs.
