Manchester City are eyeing a swoop for Borussia Dortmund hotshot Erling Haaland before the Dortmund star's release clause kicks in.
Haaland will be available for £68million in the summer of 2022 as per a clause in the contract he signed when he joined Bundesliga giants Dortmund in January last year.
Chelsea are one of the clubs who are keen on a move for the 20-year-old, but City are prepared to blow his suitors out of the water with a £100million bid this summer.
Pep Guardiola wants Haaland - whose father Alf Inge famously played for City - to be the forward to spearhead his attack once Sergio Aguero's contract expires in the summer.
