Manchester City have been mocked for Pep Guardiola's comments asking for more fans to be present for the Premier League fixture against Southampton on Saturday.The Citizens opened their Champions League campaign on Wednesday evening taking on RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium.An emphatic 6-3 win on the night saw them take pole position in the group with just over 38,000 supporters in attendance.
Manager Pep Guardiola was quick to praise his side's performance after the match but also had an unusual request for City supporters.Speaking to the BT Sport cameras, the Spaniard asked for more fans to be present in the stadium for their next game against Southampton."I would say the last three games we played here we scored 16 goals," Guardiola.
