Kyle Walker will have to defy Manchester City medics to face Real Madrid in the Champions League. City's captain pulled up with injury during England's friendly with Brazil last month and has already been ruled out of the Premier League games with Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Walker was essential to stopping Vinicius Jr during City's semi-final win over Real last year and losing him for their upcoming quarter-final with the Spanish giants would be a severe blow.
Scans have shown it will be extremely unlikely that Walker will be able to feature, with the first leg at the Bernabeu next Tuesday.
However, the player has more confidence that he will be able to shake off his issue which leaves Pep Guardiola and his staff with a dilemma over whether to risk the defender.
