A man has been charged with murder after a teenager was fatally stabbed in south Manchester. Ibraheem Ali, 19, was 'attacked' on Stockport Road in Levenshulme at around 11:30pm on Sunday, January, 22, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
Mr Ali, of Heaton Mersey in Stockport, sadly died of his injuries a week later they added. A 20-year-old man has now been charged with his murder. READ MORE: Akbar Kafeel Khan was initially charged with attempted murder following the incident.
Mr Khan, of Hyde Road, Gorton, appeared at Manchester Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday, March 1) where the charge was amended to one of murder.
He entered a not-guilty plea to the offence. During the same proceedings he entered a guilty plea to possession of a bladed article GMP said.
