The 56-year-old said: "In 2021 my wife was diagnosed with cancer. She was diagnosed in August and she passed away in October. "In between that, she went with Douglas Macmillan and they helped us get married within 48 hours.
We got married on October 21. "Apart from that, they were really good with my wife when it came to the care side of things before she passed away.
They were really good with me after that with my after care. "They helped me get back into another routine. They're really, really good people - they deserve every bit of money they can get. "It'll be in memory of my wife, but all money that's raised will go to Douglas Macmillan.
