Man charged after Audi torched in Scots town three months ago as probe continues

A man has been charged after an Audi was torched in a Scots town - three months ago - as the police investigation continues.Cops confirmed a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with wilful fire-raising in Clydebank.

The incident happened around 2.10am on Saturday, 15 June, when a white Audi A3 was set on fire on Queen Mary Crescent.A previous police appeal was released in June asking the public if they saw anything suspicious or had CCTV footage which may have captured something of significance.

Following this CCTV images were released on September 4 by the force which may have led to the arrest.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
