Scottish DJ and producer Jackmaster agonised for two days in an Ibiza hospital before dying aged just 38 after suffering an ‘accidental head injury.’ The family of Jack Revill, better known by his stage name, revealed on Saturday in an emotional post on Instagram he had tragically passed away that morning at an undisclosed location.Well-placed sources confirmed today he had lost his fight for life at Can Misses Hospital in the capital Ibiza Town after being rushed there two days earlier from another part of the island.
One said: “He was admitted to the local health service-managed hospital on the morning of Thursday October 10 and spent two days in intensive care.”Another added: “The incident that led to his death happened in another part of Ibiza.
Police have been made aware and the matter judicialized which is standard practice in Spain whenever a death occurs even if that death turns out to be accidental.”Police in Ibiza have yet to make any official comment following the statement by Jackmaster's family.
Glasgow-born Revill worked at the well-known record shop Rubadub in the city before going on to become the co-founder of the record label Numbers.He gained popularity as a DJ in Glasgow clubs.
