A man who had recently finished university and landed a full-time job has been called "selfish" by not footing the bill for his celebration dinner.
He says his family invited him out for dinner to celebrate his achievements at an expensive restaurant, but he didn't expect to be handed the bill himself when it was over.
Despite having a "pretty good time", the fun quickly came to an end when the young man was presented with the bill for 17 people, which was "in the thousands", the Mirror reports.
He'd been prepared to pay for his own share as well as his elderly grandfather's, but had not realised his family were waiting for him to cover everyone's part of the meal.
