A young man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Cheetham Hill. Emergency services rushed to the scene on Waterloo Road just before midday today (Wednesday).
A man was taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound, police said. He is in a stable condition and is receiving treatment.

In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We were called by colleagues at NWAS shortly before midday (21 September) to a report of a stabbing on Waterloo Road, Manchester. "A young man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition for treatment to a suspected stab wound.
