A man has been arrested in Bury after a shop worker was threatened with a weapon in a 'nasty' robbery. Police said the worker was left shaken following the incident at Edenfield Mini Market on Bolton Road North, near to Ramsbottom.
Three men wearing face coverings reportedly entered the store before threatening the staff member on the morning of March 14, before leaving the store with the till and a quantity of cigarettes.
Today (March 26), Lancashire Police confirmed it had arrested a man in connection with the incident. The 32-year-old, from Haslingden, was arrested in Bury on Friday.
He has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
