A teenager suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Trafford. Police were called out to Manor Avenue, in Sale, at around 8.40pm last night (April 6).
Greater Manchester Police says it followed a collision between a pedestrian and a car. The pedestrian, a 13-year-old boy, was rushed to hospital from the scene.
His injuries are not life-threatening, GMP says. Officers closed off the road, near to Firs Road, for a number of hours on Wednesday night. "A 26-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has subsequently been released under investigation.
An investigation remains ongoing."
