Police are continuing to investigate a stabbing that left a man in need of urgent life-saving treatment in south Manchester.
Officers cordoned off Rutherford Avenue, in Rusholme, just before 9pm on Saturday (April 8) after reports of a serious assault and found a man injured with stab wounds.
The victim was quickly given life-saving treatment at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to hospital in a serious, but stable condition.
Pictures taken at the scene after the incident showed the remains of police tape, debris and blood in the road.
