A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a ‘disturbance’ in Airdrie which saw a motorhome allegedly rammed by a tipper truck moments after a 'machete fight'.
Police are continuing to investigate a series of violent incidents, which are believed to be linked, in the Caldercruix Road area of the town on Friday, November 4.A 23-year-old has been identified by officers in connection with an incident, which took place at around 3.30pm, and is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 23.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 23 year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance that took place in Caldercruix Road in Airdrie around 3.30pm on Friday, 4 November.“He is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 23 November.
