Two bodies have been recovered from a river in Swansea after a car was found in the water during the early hours of Christmas morning.
A man and a woman were both tragically found dead in the River Tawe, near where the vehicle was discovered fully submerged in the water Wales Online reports.
Emergency services were called out to the scene at New Cut Road in South Wales and arrived at around 3am on Sunday December 25.
No other vehicles are believed to be involved in the incident but investigations are still ongoing. The A483 New Cut Road was closed at 6am and remained closed throughout Christmas Day.
