Three huge snakes have been found dead at a Scots loch next to a number of bags of rubbish.The horror discovery was made by a member of public near Carbeth Loch in Blanefield, Stirlingshire, on January 8.
The Boa Constrictors - normally frequented in tropical South America - were found dumped among the litter and next to a fly-tipping spot.Their cause of death currently remains unknown.
The Scottish SPCA has launched an investigation into the discovery, which charity officers described as 'very concerning'.Scottish SPCA inspector Mairi Wright said: “The snakes were found at one of the entrances to Carbeth Huts next to Carbeth Loch.
They were lying close together, next to bags of rubbish at a fly-tipping spot.“We are unsure of the cause of death for these reptiles, but the circumstances they were found in are very concerning.
