It always takes something remarkable to capture the attention of so many people, and an inspirational runner from Altrincham has proved that.
Joseph Adam, who has Down Syndrome, is looking to complete an epic once in a lifetime challenge as he will run ten 10km runs across Europe over five days.
He will look to complete the challenge running alongside his parents and three sisters, as the whole family will set course for an adventure across 10 European cities, before finishing back in Altrincham on Sunday, September 1.
The 21-year-old, an Altrincham FC super-fan, has already raised sponsorships and pledges of £180,000, but has now decided to increase his target to £250,000 in a bid to help to hire a disability sport officer for Altrincham FC Community Sports charity.
